Gouge goes on this chapter stating that corporations are unfavorable to the progress of national wealth. Corporations at times are exempt from liabilities that individuals are obligated to repay. These kind of privileges are not offered to the average individual. Corporations never die but man does. Gouge then at the end compares banks in the United States to Lords in Britain, in which many live and labor for the benefits of few.
